Your first appointment, which will typically be between 20 - 30 minutes.
Full payment is required on the day. Your Medicare rebate will be processed electronically (as long as you have a valid GP referral). Your rebate is usually in your account within 1-2 days.

Your subsequent (review) appointments. These appointments are typically between 10 - 15 minutes.
Full payment is required on the day. Your Medicare rebate will be processed electronically, and is usually in your account within 1-2 days.

Mr. Elsewaisy participates in the majority of health funds' 'known gap' arrangements. This means that your surgical out of pocket 'Gap' fee will be $500 in most instances.
You will receive written confirmation of your out of pocket surgical fee prior to your procedure.
Please note that there will be separate fees charged by the anaesthetist, surgical assistant and your private insurance excess. If you need to see a medical physician for assessment/optimisation prior to surgery, they will also charge a seperate fee.
There may also be out of pocket fees related to accommodation, radiology, pharmacy, pathology and physiotherapy, however these fees are usually fully covered by your insurance/medicare.
Mr. Elsewaisy performs No-Gap hip and knee replacement and ACL reconstruction surgery through Mulgrave Private Hospital (for eligible Medibank patients)

Mr. Elsewaisy is happy to see Workcover and TAC patients. If you have a claim number and an approval letter for the consult, the appointment will be billed directly to Workcover/TAC. Otherwise, full payment is required on the day, and you can then submit the invoice for reimbursement from Workcover/TAC.
If surgery is required, and approved by Workcover/TAC, the surgery will be charged to them, and there will be no out of pocket fee.
